M22 Tactical is proud to announce a new partnership with Task Force 70, an organization dedicated to bringing advanced, practical training to patrol officers serving in small and rural departments.
Task Force 70 is named for the seventy percent of U.S. police departments that are small or rural. Their work is built around a simple but powerful belief: every officer deserves access to the training needed to protect lives while upholding the United States Constitution.
Across the country, small-town and rural officers face the same dangers as officers in large cities, but they often do so with far less training funding, fewer personnel, and fewer opportunities to attend specialized courses. These officers may be first on scene, first through the door, first to render aid, and first to make decisions when seconds matter.
Task Force 70 is working to close that gap.
This partnership grew out of Police Week 2026 at The Ranch Texas, where our common mission of supporting Law Enforcement was front and center.
M22 Tactical created the RedCat to make AR-platform dry fire training safer, simpler, and more realistic. The RedCat allows the safety selector to function during dry fire the way it does during live fire, without needing to rack the bolt to reset the safety between trigger pulls. It renders the rifle inert, installs in seconds, and allows officers to practice key handling skills without live ammunition.
When officers have limited training time, every repetition needs to count. The RedCat helps departments add safe, affordable, and realistic dry fire reps into their training program without adding ammunition costs, range time, batteries, apps, or complicated equipment.
These small departments deserve professional training capability just as much as large departments. That’s why this partnership with Task Force 70 is important to us.
We believe in supporting the officers who serve small or rural communities across the country. M22 Tactical is honored to support Task Force 70 and the officers they serve.
Train Hard. Stay Safe.
